I’m Ericz—a game developer, director, and teacher. I make games, and I also make films with AI.

Scripts, storyboards, light, and code are, to me, different ways into the same thing: taking a world that does not yet exist and making it somewhere people can enter.

My work currently unfolds along two paths. One is moving image: the original feature project YAN, set in Shuangyu Port in 1541 and serving as a prequel to a game IP, alongside a series of experimental animated shorts. The other is games and products: independent games and utility apps.

In recent years, AI tools have transformed the entire creative pipeline—from concept art to finished film, from prototype to launch—and accelerated the pace. But what ultimately defines a work is still the choices, the rhythm, and how long you are willing to wait for a single shot.
