This Privacy Policy explains how oxxdoku! handles information when you use our iOS app. oxxdoku! is a logic puzzle game monetized with advertising only (no in-app purchases and no account login).

2. Information we process

Depending on your device settings and consent, we may process:

Gameplay data stored on your device — such as level progress, daily challenge status, settings, and similar preferences. This data stays on your device unless you clear app data or reinstall.
Device and technical information — such as device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, crash/diagnostic signals, and approximate performance metrics needed to run and improve the app.
Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data — such as the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) when permitted, IP address, ad impressions/clicks, and related signals used by our advertising partners to show, measure, and fight fraud in ads.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect your name, email, phone number, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or payment card details through oxxdoku!.

3. How we use information

Provide core gameplay and remember local progress/settings
Show ads that support a free experience (rewarded, interstitial, and/or banner ads)
Measure ad performance, prevent invalid traffic, and maintain service security
Diagnose crashes and improve stability and compatibility
Comply with applicable law and platform requirements (including Apple App Store rules)

4. Advertising and third parties

oxxdoku! uses Google AdMob (and may use related Google advertising services) to display ads. These partners may collect and process device and advertising data under their own privacy policies.

On iOS, tracking for personalized advertising (where applicable) is subject to Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you decline tracking, we and our partners will limit use of the IDFA accordingly; non-personalized or contextual ads may still be shown.

5. Legal bases (where required)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on one or more of: performance of a contract (providing the app), legitimate interests (security, analytics limited to app operation, fraud prevention), and consent (for ATT/personalized advertising where required).

6. Data retention

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. Advertising and diagnostic data processed by partners is retained according to their policies and applicable law.

7. International transfers

Because we use global advertising and infrastructure providers, information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied by those providers.

8. Children

oxxdoku! is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Your choices and rights

Use iOS Settings to reset your Advertising Identifier or limit ad tracking / personalized ads
Respond to the ATT prompt (or change later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking)
Uninstall the app to stop further collection by the app on that device
Where applicable, request access, correction, deletion, or objection by emailing us

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of a free ad-supported game. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
